Colorado Businesses Step Up with Strong Support
As the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Colorado celebrates its 25th anniversary, a special program was established to create business partnerships with companies large and small statewide. From small businesses to large media companies—and everything in between—we are grateful for the enthusiastic support we've received, and continue to receive.
Each business partner has created a unique promotional program that invites customers to join them in supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Current Business partnerships include:
Bill Phillips: Bill Phillips, the former chairperson and CEO of EAS and the author of the best-selling health and fitness book “Body for Life” recently made a $109,000 personal donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Colorado. Mr. Phillips' donation came about as part of his Transformation Challenge, a 12-week plan to increase the health, fitness and energy of Challenge participants across the country and the world. transformation.com
Comcast: Colorado's premier cable television, internet and telephone service provider has donated time on its various channels to run thousands of public service announcements about the Make-A-Wish Foundation. www.comcast.com
The Creative Alliance: As one of the region's most exciting marketing and PR firms, the Creative Alliance has donated numerous video, printed and promotional tools for our 25th anniversary celebration, with a keen focus on raising funds for the next 25 years. www.thecreativealliance.com
Dan Knudson Photography: The very talented Dan Knudson has donated his keen eye using his video and photography skills working with The Creative Alliance. Dan is developing radio and TV commercials with Clint Hurdle—the Colorado Rockies Baseball coach—as spokesperson for Make-A-Wish. www.danknudson.com

Frontier Airlines: The second largest jet carrier of Denver International Airport, is committed to support Make-A-Wish and its mission as a way to give back to the community. Frontier flies our wish children for free and offers discounted ticket prices for the wish family members, as well as Make-A-Wish board and staff traveling on business. Through Frontier's Scouts program, wish families are met by Scout Volunteers at the airport and assisted through check-in and security. The volunteers continue the escort of the families to their gate and make sure they get comfortably seated on the plane. Make-A-Wish is a recipient of Frontier's frequent flier donation program where passengers have the opportunity to donate their miles. www.frontierairlines.com
KT's BBQ: This family-owned restaurant chain has generously agreed to contribute BBQ lunches for the 4th Annual Make-A-Wish foundation Charity Adult Kickball Tournament September 20, and raise visibility for the Foundation in its four Front Range locations. www.ktsbbq.com
Kitchens at the Denver: Colorado's most sophisticated kitchen showroom hosted "A Taste of Tuscany" wine tasting and cooking demonstration, along with live music in its spacious and beautiful showroom at 8th and Kalamath, near downtown Denver. Lynn Patrick, Guitarist: The acoustic music of the brightest sort was played by Lynn Patrick at "A Taste of Tuscany" a fundraising event presented by Kitchens at the Denver for the Make-A-Wish Foundation on April 17th. Midas: Midas' Denver area stores, 22 locations situated along the Front Range and affiliated with Midas International Corporation, one of the world's largest providers of automotive services, are teaming up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Colorado to share the power of a wish®. Nissi's Live Music & Bistro: Boulder's hottest new music venue has gathered its best performers onto a compilation CD that is sure to be a collector's item. With diverse music form Colorado favorites and nationally acclaimed artists, Wish Come True has been a labor of love. The CD release party will be held at Nissi's as an additional fundraiser, and the good folks at Nissi's are running Make-A-Wish ads in their monthly newspaper and on their big screen between shows. www.nissis.com
